This last weekend, my nephew Scott got married. We told Beth that we would keep the boys so that she could enjoy the rehearsal dinner. We love having the boys around for 2 reasons...we get to have them all to our selves and Brayden and Alayna are the best of friends and play so good together. Brayden got off to a rough start but came around and had a great time. We had a blast with Kolby. He smiles at the funniest things and this made it even more fun.
Let's back up to Thursday - we went to the mall to check on a dress for Alayna and ended up seeing my brother and sister-in-law at the mall. Then I ran into a store to see if they had a different shirt for the wedding and ran into my mother-in-law. It was like a mini family reunion all over again!!
Now, onto Saturday...I went back to the mall to take back the shirt that I bought then we had to get ready for the wedding which was at 4:30. We made it in time and it was a wonderful service. The officiator was wonderful this made the service really nice. After the family pictures, we went to reception at Senior Hall on Stephens College Campus. After dinner there was a lot of dancing which Alayna LOVED!!!! She danced with anyone who would go out on the floor with her. We had a really nice night.
Today, we went to Finger Lakes to have a baby shower for the California couple (soon to be family). Then we had a nice picnic and back home. We knew Alayna was getting really tired so we headed home - not to mention that the temperature outside was getting way to hot be enjoy being outside.
We got home, Alayna took a shower and then slept for over 5 hours. I knew that dancing and party would catch up with her sooner or later!! We had something for supper that she has been asking for - for a long time...Meatballs. She ate a lot and is now upstairs with her mom watching a movie.
