How nice is it to have Sunday...the day before you have to get back to the daily grind of work, housework, and the entire rat race. Today was suppose to be a quiet day. Mom and I got up and out of here early to go the grocery store. We left around 9 and got back a little after 12 and terribly broke...it cost me $650 for a months supply of groceries for a family of 5. And, what is so bad is that I will be going back to the store several time I am sure. But, at least we will eat even if we don't have money for gas, electricity, etc!! :)
The garage sale went really well. We had a lot of big items...2 freezers, 2 TV stands, a TV, Rocker, etc. The total was around $575.00. This paid for the gas and hotel for our trip to Arkansas.
Tom is feeling pretty good. He is finally over his sore throat. He started on the medicine on Friday, so we are not sure if it is working yet.
Mom is still having problems. She was talking about it last night. Said that she feels like she is 9 months pregnant with the pressure she has in her pelvic region.
Kristi is really looking forward to all of us being gone this week. She has plans to veg out! She was not happy when she found out that we would probably be home on Saturday night instead of Sunday night.
Brian kinda gave us a shocker yesterday. He asked if he could move home for 2 months. I asked him what was wrong and he said that he would tell us later. Today, he came over for dinner and said that he is pretty sure that he is going to stay where he is at until he moves in with his girlfriend, Megan in August.
