We think it was a gopher - but the standoff between Jelly Bean (the cat) and animal (the animal) was funny. In one of the pictures, Animal was shaking his body. Tom said that he was making noise to scare away Jelly bean, but he wasn't having any part of being scared away.
I am really not sure why I pay a zoo membership with all the wildlife we have in our yard.
