At least that is what Ally, Kristi, and I decided. The BBQ turned out to be a lot of fun. We were not the only parents there - 2 more sets of parents showed up as well. I am not sure how many people actually showed up, but there was more than enough good food.
After we ate, someone brought some kites since it was so windy and several people started a kite flying contest of sorts. The winner was Alayna I guess since Paul hooked his kite to her kite and she was flying 2 kites at once. She thought she was really special. That was, until her string broke and both kites flew away. But, don't fret - Paul took off running and got them both out of the tree and was able to save them.
I think I am wind burnt - my face is very red and hot. But, the wind made for a nice day for a picnic. The wind was a problem, but we all made it through.
Now, have to go back to work tomorrow - but a short week ahead. I will have an issue trying to remember that it is Tuesday instead of Monday.
Happy work week everyone.
