Counting and pricing Hot Wheels...
So, I bet you want to know "the rest of the story..."
OK, since you asked. We have a guy at work that collects Hot Wheels. One day, he and I got to talking about all the hot wheels that we have stored in containers in the attic. All of them in original package, and in excellent condition. He, of course wants to buy them all - cheap, but it intrigued me so I decided to pull them all out, catalog them all, find out prices, and see what we really have.
After one week of hard work - I found out that we have 409 cars that are currently worth $779.50. Not a bad nest egg. But, now I am going to sort through them again and find all of the duplicates, triplicates, and quads (yes, some we have 4 exact duplicates!). Those, I will sell. Not only is Adam interested in them, but a co-worker has a friend who buys Hot Wheels.
Tomorrow I hope to get them separated and the ones that we are going to keep - put those in a Rubbermaid container and back to the attic.
